IEEE Nanotechnology council (NTC) Student Branch Chapter at IIT Indore is a chapter developed by a group of the enthusiastic and young research students of IIT Indore with diverse background in electrical and electronic engineering, nanotechnology, material science and physics. The main objective of the student branch chapter is to enhance the interest and passion of the young professionals in modernization of nanotechnology, a fast-growing research field with wide applications in almost all aspects of human life. The student branch chapter aims to facilitate its student members by enhancing their active participation and incorporating them within the global network of nanotechnology community consisting of academicians, researchers, scientists and engineers of different institutions and organizations from all over the world. This chapter also aims for providing a global platform to participate to discuss and collaborate with the professional working in the nanotechnology field. It also aims to reach out to pre-university and graduate students and garner their budding interest in the nanotechnology and its aligned research area. The student branch chapter actively organizes invited talks, hands-on workshops on various circuit design and simulation tools like TCAD software, Matlab Simulink, and Proteus and various programming languages used in advanced device modelling like Python, Verilog and Matlab etc. The activities also cover various emerging technologies, conducts distinguished lectures, seminars, short-term courses and many other events. We, at IIT Indore encourage students and all interest members to join the IEEE-NTC student branch chapter and benefits from our endeavor.
